Mobium Creative Group wins two top CEBA Awards: 2002-10-30 New York, NY — October 30, 2002 — Mobium Creative Group, an integrated branding and communications agency, walked away with the coveted top honors in the highly competitive Integrated Media Advertising and Interactive categories at the prestigious 2002 Creative Excellence in Business Advertising (CEBA) Awards. The CEBA Awards honor the best in Business to Business (B-to-B) advertising, and the creative minds behind the advertising. The awards are presented by the American Business Media Association (ABMA) in New York. Mobium was one of only three agencies to win two first place awards, the others included Martin Williams and the Ashway Group. Mobium trumped finalists Martin Williams in the Integrated Media Advertising category and Smithsonian Magazine and USA Films Interactive category. These are considered two of the competition’s biggest award categories. “Interactive is an important and emerging marketing area. The recognition of this category by the ABMA is validation that it’s being taken as seriously as ‘traditional media.’ The competition for this award was stiff and we are seeing this become one of the marketing industry’s hottest sectors,” says Guy Gangi, a partner at Mobium Creative Group, who was in New York to receive the awards. “Being a finalist in this competition is an honor and winning against some of the biggest national agencies, particularly in the Integrated category, which is our core service offering” says Gordon Hochhalter, a partner at Mobium Creative Group. This year’s CEBA awards received a record breaking number of entries, making the competition the fiercest in the event’s history. Competitors included DreamsWorks Advertising, Goodby, Silverstein & Partners, Carmichael Lynch, CMP Media, Martin/Williams, Sawyer Riley Compton, HSR and Kirshenbaum Bond & Partners.
