A recent survey of design engineers (Machine Design magazine) identified a number of factors that contribute to stress on the job.  Design engineers rated them in terms of being causes of stress for them.  I wonder how many of these factors are causes of stress in virtually any company or industry.  Take a look and see how many of these you recognize as a stress factor for you as a marketing or marketing communications professional.

I’d venture to say there’s a lot of similarity from one profession to another.  All of us in marketing may actually have a lot in common with those folks in engineering after all.
